Unlock Your Strengths: Know Yourself!

Does every Hongkonger really think, “My goal is just to go to work”? With endless workdays ahead, shouldn’t it be “My goal is to find a job that suits me” instead? Finding a job that matches your personality and skills is never easy, and sometimes the girls at Teen’s Key share their struggles with us about job hunting and work life. That’s why, at a Personality Workshop hosted by Jebsen Group for Teen’s Key girls, they’ve started their journey to uncover some answers.

The workshop featured Edward Tse, Group Human Resources Manager at Jebsen Group and an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, as the speaker. Edward explained the meaning behind the 8 letters of the MBTI framework and the different personality types and behaviors they represent. This helped the girls gain a deeper understanding of themselves and plan for their future career paths.

Edward also reminded everyone: “MBTI can be understood as a spectrum, each type has its own strengths and is equally valuable.” One of the girls shared how this workshop sparked some “intense discussions” with people of different personalities, leading to deeper connections. We believe that after discovering more about their own personalities, our Teen’s Key girls will be one step closer to finding their own place in the world.
