Listening to Your Body, One Sip at a Time

When was the last time you truly listened to your body?

Recently, registered Chinese medicine practitioner Zoe hosted “A Cup of Tea for Myself”—a flower tea workshop for the young women at Teen’s Key.

Through a relaxed tea-tasting experience, Zoe created a cozy space to chat about everyday physical and emotional struggles, from stress and mood swings to irregular periods. While blending their own teas, the girls explored different botanicals—learning how rose soothes tension, while roselle clears internal heat and calm the mind.

Zoe shared a thoughtful reminder: health is not always about finding a quick fix, but about learning to pause. If a certain floral aroma feels comforting today, that is your body’s intuitive way of sharing what it needs right now.

We hope every Teen’s Key girl learns to listen to her inner voice, offering herself a little extra care and kindness each day.
