Teen's Key Hong Kong Charity Screening "Montages of a Modern Motherhood"

Teen’s Key Hong Kong Charity Screening “Montages of a Modern Motherhood

When it comes to “motherhood,” people often say, “A mother becomes strong.” While supporting young mothers, Teen’s Key truly understands how challenging it is to become a mother. It’s especially challenging for these young women to be a strong support for their children. They may face criticism from others for being “immature,” and as their life paths diverge from those of their similarly-aged friends, they often find themselves drifting apart. In our city, the social welfare system may not provide adequate support for young mothers with lower socioeconomic status.

In this charity screening, Teen’s Key is excited to invite director Chan Siu Kuen and a member from our Young Mothers Club to share their experiences. These two mothers will talk about the joys and struggles they encounter amidst the daily realities of parenting—between groceries, baby formula, and diapers.

With the release of “Montages of a Modern Motherhood,” young mothers have important stories to tell.
