Bringing Sexuality Education to Families

In late August, Teen’s Key took part in the “Summer Fun Carnival,” organized by P. C. Lee OneSky Global Centre. Since most participants were kindergarten and primary school children attending with their families, we curated a child-friendly Teen’s Key “Sexuality Education” booth tailored to their needs. A few members of our Young Mothers Club also joined as sexuality education ambassadors, guiding children and parents to learn about basic anatomy and the importance of body boundaries.

👧👦 Children’s question: Private parts of the body should not be touched by others?

🧑🏻‍🏫 Our response: If any touch makes you feel uncomfortable or unwilling, you have the right to say no—no matter which part of your body it is.

Parents responded very positively on the day. Many shared that when children encounter uncomfortable physical touch, they may not know how to refuse. We strongly believe that sexuality education should start early, and parents’ education is equally essential. Only through a dual approach can we establish positive values for the next generation.
