Advancing SRHR: Empowering the Next Generation of Compassionate Clinicians

We were recently invited by AMSAHK SCORA to serve as guest speakers at their workshop, “BUMPS: The Ups and Downs of Pregnancy.” It was a privilege to collaborate with a partner who shares our dedication to sexual and reproductive health and rights. Together, we explored the real-life situations and nuanced needs of adolescent girls facing unplanned pregnancies with a dedicated group of medical students.

Through this sharing session, we hope to help future healthcare professionals gain a deeper understanding of the multifaceted struggles these young women encounter—ranging from the crushing pressure of social stigma to the overwhelming anxiety felt when seeking medical support. For these girls, receiving genuine empathy and understanding from medical staff is an indispensable part of their journey.
