Intern Recap：Who Knew Sexual Health Could Be This Much Fun?

At Teen’s Key, every intern reaches a special milestone by successfully organizing her own workshop. This month, another brilliant young woman completed the challenge!

“To be honest, I used to think sexual health was pretty dry!” admits intern Hoyee. When tasked with designing her workshop, she happened to pick this challenging topic. Believing that learning happens best through fun, she wracked her brain for a creative hook.

Her stroke of genius? Crafting uterus and sanitary pad charms out of Perler beads, paired with an interactive HPV myth-busting game. While researching, Hoyee even unlearned a few myths herself: “I used to think contracting HPV automatically meant getting cancer, but I learned that the immune system can actually clear it on its own!”

From health risks, the conversation naturally flowed into relationships and unsafe sex. Rather than lecturing, Hoyee focused on practical care: “If you do take a risk, how do you handle it afterwards?” Opening up about her own relationship experiences, she gently reminded the girls to spot emotional red flags and prioritize their safety.

Seeing Hoyee grow from a hesitant planner into a confident facilitator was truly inspiring. We hope the confidence and self-awareness she gained from leading this workshop will serve as a solid foundation, empowering her to go even further on her journey ahead.
