The reasons why young girls engage in sex work include poverty, peer influence, and sexual curiosity. They have different needs in body, mind, education and career planning. Because they have been working in nightclubs for a long time, they missed school studies and were even "kicked out of school" (expulsion from school).
Most young girls are often unemployed because they do not have any certificates and other work experience. Many of these girls have been subjected to sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and violence, causing huge psychological trauma.

Qingyue’s survey found that 27% of girls working in the sex industry chose to stay in the industry because they have a certain degree of debt. Among them, because'Mamasans' (intermediaries) will borrow money from them, they are very attractive to some young girls who are vulnerable or in danger.
Qingyue believes that all young girls have great potential, but some young girls will be difficult to change because of past events or their own experiences.
