【Support Teen’s Key Emergency Fund & Educational Bursary】 “They just started their journey a few years earlier—that does not make them wrong.”

In our early days, Teen’s Key operated out of a modest, sub-divided flat in Mong Kok. We were incredibly fortunate to have partners who believed in our vision from day one, helping us reach our fifteenth year. Among them is the General Manager of Home Spa, who joined our journey after witnessing youth pregnancy within her own social circle.

👥 The Unseen Bravery Behind the Stigma

Witnessing close friends pour their hearts into parenting, only to face harsh societal stigma, deeply moved her.

“The young women around me were incredibly brave,” she recalls. “They chose to bring life into the world, dedicating themselves entirely to their children.”

Yet, the reality is a relentless battle. Financial strain, limited work experience, and navigating a child’s special educational needs (SEN) can quietly take a heavy toll on these young mothers.

🛣️ Walking a Different Path, Together

“We are all equal,” she says firmly. “They simply had children earlier, which does not make them wrong. Taking on such responsibility deserves our deepest encouragement.”

In their most helpless moments, Teen’s Key was there to catch them without judgment, offering genuine empathy and walking alongside each mother for as long as needed.

Having supported us for years, she recently placed a Teen’s Key donation box at Home Spa to encourage community giving.
“Do not feel like you need to give a fortune,” she says. “Even a small contribution makes a girl realize that she is not alone, and that someone is willing to walk this path with her.”
